The Future of Construction – Today

Australia’s modular construction and prefabrication industry is growing steadily, with an ambition to achieve 10% of the residential market by 2020. This is with increasing emphasis on intelligent materials, components and subassemblies and the integration of these elements into design, procurement and construction.

At the same time, New Zealand is experiencing an exponential growth in demand for housing especially in Christchurch and Auckland that far outstrips supply due to natural disaster and population growth respectively, making modular and prefabricated housing the most sustainable manner to scale up on New Zealand’s construction needs.
