Introduction

The successful development and market access of new medicines is becoming increasingly reliant on harnessing an alliance ecosystem throughout the BioPharma value chain. However, while alliance management becomes the crucial step in the deal-making process, many companies are still facing major difficulties in driving successful partnerships and leveraging them for effective commercialization of new biopharma product innovation.

The problem here is that most companies are unable to adapt to the evolving landscape of biopharma alliances. In addition, they are hindered by ineffective partnership models and poor stakeholder engagement, relationship management and collaboration strategies. Furthermore, many also feedback a lack of knowledge on the effective frameworks and tools to drive successful commercialization strategies of their partnership product innovation.

Without in-depth knowledge and effective strategies to build a strong alliance capability within your business, alliances may face poor operational performance, slow innovation process, disputes due to miscommunication, low commercial value and eventually highly dissatisfied investors and loss of business value.
