Dr Michael Court serves as the Managing Director at Balanced Scorecard Australia, Senior Associate of Balanced Scorecard Institute and Certified Balanced Scorecard Master Professional. A leading management consultant who has worked extensively with major public sector organizations as well as higher education institutions, his esteemed clientele include University of South Australia, Australian Submarine Corporation, the PNG Police and State Services Savings and Loans Society, Spendvision and Western Water.
With expertise in the strategic management of organizations, development and implementation of strategic planning and balanced scorecard systems, one of Michael's most notable project includes developing and delivering a large scale USAID-funded balanced scorecard program for the public sector in Mongolia, which included detailed programs for three publicly owned companies.
Prior to his role as Managing Director at Balanced Scorecard Australia, Michael’s 20 years of senior management experience includes a key role as the CEO of a new Statutory Authority in South Australia, Foundation SA where he worked closely with the Minister of Health to develop new funding strategies for the promotion of Sports, Recreation, Health and the Arts. In 1994, Michael established his own management consultancy practice specializing in the development and implementation of scorecard systems. He has also served as the Commission Secretary of the SA Health Commission, in which he was responsible for the oversight of the implementation of Government and Commission policies within the state health system.
