Dr. Niroshan Sivathasan

Dr. Niroshan is registered to operate as a medical doctor in a number of countries; and has published over 35 medical articles, spoken at conferences around the world, and is a reviewer and editorial committee-member for various medical journals. Dr. Niroshan completed his Bachelor’s and Medical degrees from King’s College London and University College London, respectively. Since then, he has worked across a variety of surgical specialties but focused on plastic and burns surgery, and on head and neck reconstruction. His postgraduate qualifications in surgery and aesthetic medicine were also gained in London, prior to moving to Australia to pursue a higher fellowship in cosmetic surgery with Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. In addition to his work in restorative surgery, Dr. Niroshan has a particular interest in non- and minimally- invasive aesthetics of the face and trunk, and is a senior trainer for the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries.

Dr Kim completed his Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Sydney and a Medical Degree (Hons.) and Masters (at the University of New South Whales, he then went on to do a Masters of Medicine before completing his internship and residency at Concord Hospital in Sydney. After working as a General Practitioner in Graften, Emerald, Bundaberg, Winton and Cooktown, Dr Kim embarked on his Dermatology training. During his training, Dr Kim was awarded the Ken Paver Medal for excellence. Dr Kim has special interests in acne, revision of acne scarring, cosmetic dermatology including lasers, muscle relaxants, fillers, and the treatment and management of skin cancers including flaps and grafts. He has also worked at various hospitals including Greenslopes Private Hospital, Mater Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and Princess Alexandra Hospital Dr Kim has continued his research and published a number of journal articles. As a widely recognised expert in his field Dr Kim has been invited as a reviewer for a number of journals and has presented his journal articles at many conferences around the world.

Vivien Gardiner is a public hospital trained RN with many years experience in operating room nursing and multi-theatre unit management. From 1989 until 1997 she worked as surgical assistant and practice manager to a plastic surgeon specialising in complex facio-maxillary, head & neck and free TRAM reconstruction. From 1989 until 2008, Vivien was a volunteer RN for Interplast Australia working mainly in East Kalimantan, Indonesia and carried out the first multi-patient post-operative field study in the interior of Indonesian Borneo. She was also Patient Coordinator for cases brought to Australia for more complex surgical management, working with government, hospital administration, surgical teams and community organisations to facilitate free of charge treatment and support. In 1997, Vivien co-founded Erase Aesthetic Services clinic in Malvern, Melbourne and continues there as co-owner and Executive Director. Erase was the first independent medical clinic in Australia to offer retail aesthetic services to the public. These services include injectable treatments, laser and IPL services, sclerotherapy, skin management and hormonal diagnostics.

Dr. Kyung Chun An is a cosmetic surgeon, lecturer for several cosmetic fields, i.e. liposuction, botox and filler injections, and thread liftings. He is known for his meticulous works and enthusiasm in teaching other doctors. He is currently working as a clinical professor in Korea University and Korea College of Cosmetic Surgery. Private classes are ran for doctors who like to learn details of his techniques. He has invented ‘lifting botox technique,’ ‘5D liposculpture technique’ for artistic sculpture of human body with comprehensive design which gives utmost naturally looking results. In 2008, he received ‘Top 100 health professionals of the world’ award from International Biographical Center for his out standing works in the field of ‘Stem Cell Therapy.’ He is one of the first doctors who ran franchise clinic in Korea, which is Natural Beauty Clinic, and was the president of the network for 7 years before he started to build current clinic: ‘The Seroi Plastic Surgery Clinic.’

Having undergone Vaser Hi Definition Liposuction himself, Dr Kim can provide patients with honest and detailed advice of what to expect when undergoing body contouring procedures. Dr Kim has been invited to return to Korea as a key-note speaker presenting at the 2014 Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Conference.
