- Building Digital Resilience In The Post-COVID Era – The Case Study Of GHD
Many organizations have been massively affected as the scourge of COVID-19 has impacted their infrastructure assets. Some however, have found new ways to deliver better customer outcomes whilst reducing operational expense through improving their digital resilience. What are the steps to take to build digital resilience into your operating model by designing for it at the front end of the infrastructure lifecycle? How can you attain new levels of customer experience and operational efficiency that improve infrastructure asset performance levels beyond where they were before COVID-19 hit? |

How Drones Are Used To Ensure Infrastructure Integrity In Aerial Surveys
Regular inspections are vital for the structural integrity of infrastructure such as roads and bridges, in order to ensure public safety. Carrying out such tests can be very costly and disruptive especially if the infrastructure in question is one that is widely used. In the case of bridges on the Mitchell and Kwinana Freeways in Perth, the Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) addressed this problem by using drones to carry out bridge inspections. |

Digital Engineering Evolution & Advances: From Point(s) Of Truth To A Digital Ecosystem And What That Means For On-Site Teams
Digital engineering is promising to evolve past “single points of truth” to require their own ecosystems: integrated, interconnected infrastructure and methodology used to store, access, analyze and visualize evolving data and models. Equipped with these, on-site teams will be able to transform data at any point of the development lifecycle using model-based systems to address challenges, guide enhancements and generate authoritative digital surrogates to efficiently support probabilistic analysis of margins, uncertainties and risks in support of decision-making under different scenarios. Delve into the latest digital engineering advances in this session. |

- The Virtual Moreland Project
Facing population increases over the next two decades, Moreland launched the Virtual Moreland Project, funded through the Smart Cities and Suburbs Program, to help meet key priority plans for improving the city’s livability through growth and excellence in urban design and development. This first-of-its-kind project in Australia harnessed a bevy of technologies such as 3D visualization. Learn more about this ground-breaking use of digital twins for large-scale planning in this session. |
