Marieke is a versatile HR leader with over 15 years of experience in HR and Change Transformations in MNCs and management consultancy. She is currently Regional HR Director South Asia for AkzoNobel and based out of Singapore. In her previous role she was HR Director Global Functions at AkzoNobel HQ and joined the company as HRBP for one of the business units. Prior to AkzoNobel, Marieke worked at Kingfisher as Global HR Manager based out of Hong Kong. Before her in-house HR career, Marieke was a management consultant with Towers Perrin, currently known as Willis Towers Watson, based out of Amsterdam, London and Hong Kong. She holds a Masters in International Business and a Master in Law and speaks English, Dutch (native), German and French. Currently she is pursuing her coaching certification with Co-Active Coaching.
